# Speed MCP tools

| Tool | What it does |

| `status` | Is the PKD 3D tab connected, and which design is open. |
| `open_app` | Open PKD 3D in the browser; the tab connects by itself. |
| `skill_reference` | Read the modelling rules: command shapes, plane axes and known traps. |
| `set_plan` | Show the goal, approach, stages and assumptions in the Agent panel. |
| `new_design` | Start an empty design (asks first if the open one has features). |
| `inspect_design` | Parameters, timeline, bodies, sketches and checks of the open design. |
| `list_commands` | The command catalogue with one-line parameter docs. |
| `describe_command` | One command's full parameters and contract. |
| `execute` | Run one modelling command, exactly as the toolbar does. |
| `batch` | Run several commands in order, stopping at the first error. |
| `set_parameter` | Create or change a user parameter and rebuild. |
| `check_parameters` | Try parameter values without keeping them. |
| `measure` | Volume, area, centre of mass and bounding box. |
| `body_topology` | Edges and faces of a body, for exact picks. |
| `view_model` | A picture of the model from any view. |
| `run_physics_check` | Mass, thrust, hover time and every law, pass or fail. |
| `search_catalogue` | Real motors, props, batteries, ESCs, bearings and fasteners. |
| `run_fea` | Screening FEA on the real parts, with the loads and supports you name. |
| `clear_fea_paint` | Remove FEA colours from the model. |
| `export_design` | STEP, STL, DXF, PDF one-pager and parts list, saved to disk. |
| `undo` | Undo the last change. |
| `redo` | Redo the last undone change. |

Units are mm and Z is up. Every call shows in the PKD 3D Agent panel, where the person can pause the agent or undo its run.
